The Shuri Network Nursing Fellowship

Our inaugural nursing fellowship programme was launched in September 2021 in collaboration with NHS England !

A warm welcome to our Shuri Nursing Fellows from Angela Knight-Jackson from NHSE and the Shuri team: Bisi, Fiona and Shera in September 2021

The award-winning Shuri Network and NHS England and Improvement are collaborating to support ethnic minority nurses who are interested in health technology by offering coaching and shadowing sessions to support nurses to succeed and thrive as digital leaders and innovators.

Meeting some of our fantastic coaches to hear their career paths and lived experiences

The Fellowship combines coaching and virtual shadowing to support nurses who are currently working within the NHS in digital health or who would are taking their first step in digital health. The Fellowship aims to enable nurses overcome career-related challenges, build positive connections and gain an insight into different leadership roles.

Our group of Nursing Fellows come from a wide range of clinical backgrounds including Mental Health, Palliative Care, Sepsis, research, and CCU from across the country. We look forward to supporting their career development !

We were delighted to welcome Bisi Soledolu to the Shuri team in June 2021 as our Project Manager for the Nursing Fellowship. Bisi is a nurse & midwife by background and is passionate about helping nurses and midwives to succeed in their careers.
