Shuri Bursaries for Faculty of Clinical Informatics Membership

As the first NHS and care network of BAME women in digital health, The Shuri Network is committed to increasing safety, promoting difference and diversity in digital health, challenging the system to take action and supporting BAME women to succeed in their careers.

The Faculty of Clinical Informatics aims to support, mobilise and act as an advocate for clinical informaticians in order to ensure safe, effective and efficient health and social care to the public. The Faculty recognises the vital role of promoting equality and diversity in order to attract clinical informaticians from all backgrounds.

Given the synergy in goals, The Shuri Network and the Faculty of Clinical Informatics are pleased to announce a joint venture to encourage and facilitate BAME women in applying to the Faculty of Clinical Informatics. The Shuri Network will provide 15 BAME women with a bursary to cover the cost of a year’s membership of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.

• be a UK resident
• be a member of the Shuri Network

To apply, please complete the Shuri Network bursary form alongside the Faculty of Clinical Informatics membership form and send both to info@fci.org.uk by midnight on 7th September 2020.

We look forward to hearing from you!
