East of England and Midlands

The East of England and Midlands Regional Shuri Network Fellows conducted an evaluation of the Digital Skills Assessment Tool (DSAT) using the FITT (Fit between Individual, task and Technology) Framework to measure its effectiveness in measuring and improving digital literacy among NHS health and social care professionals.

Key Objectives:

  • Promote the DSAT tool within the NHS workforce.
  • Assess its effectiveness in evaluating digital skills.
  • Provide feedback to NHS England (NHSE) for potential improvements.

We were proud to present this to NHS digital academy / NHS England and had high praise and big accolade: “Really ,really, really good” with numerous comments and conclusions- take away to look at improvement of current DSAT. Furthermore in Summer 2025 we have an opportunity to talk about our project at the GP conference about our project. We have also become a part of the NHSE DSAT subgroup and have also increased awareness of DSAT tool within the Shuri network and regional respective Trusts too!

South West and South East

Welcome to the South West and South East Region channel, created by members of the Shuri Network Fellowship Cohort 4. We are a group of passionate individuals on a journey to become leaders in digital health. Our vision is to champion the inclusion of ethnic minorities in healthcare technology and innovation. Through conversations, insights, and storytelling, we aim to highlight diverse perspectives and inspire change across the health and care system.

We have developed guidance for using the NHS app in English, Hindi and Polish. Follow the QR code below or go to our YouTube channel.
